This year’s Family Conference will be held in Birmingham on Saturday June 29th.

Speakers

We have some fantastic speakers lined up, including:

  • Professor Gupta – a paediatric neurologist and works at the Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. He has been involved with Corpal in the past. • Joe Barnby – an assistant professor in the field of cognitive computational science. He works at the Royal Holloway University and holds a research position at King’s College London. He is already collaborating with the other charities around the world on DCC and has a keen interest in understanding the challenges of young adults with the condition.
  • Christina Dimitriadou – a PhD student under the supervision of Joe.
  • Natasha Ladak – a therapy life coach and the founder of Head2Heart Connection. She has extensive experience and work within our Charity and will deliver a talk on skills and challenges not just for the individuals affected with DCC but for those around them too.
